Overview

Convert a given phone number into a chosen Standard (E.164, RFC3966, International or National) through a simple (and secure) API GET request.

Scenario: You allow people to input their numbers into your application or website but would like all the numbers to be of the same type, E164. Using our API service, you can quickly convert the number into your desired standard, ensuring all numbers in your database is in the same format.

Examples:

  • `E164`: `020 7183 8750` to `+442071838750` using `GB`
  • `INTERNATIONAL`: `020 7183 8750` to `+44 20 7183 8750` using `GB`
  • `NATIONAL`: `020 7183 8750` to `020 7183 8750` using `GB`
  • `RFC3966`: `020 7183 8750` to `tel:+44-20-7183-8750` using `GB`

Premium Service

This Service is a `Premium Services` that requires an API Key to function. In order to receive your API key, you would need to register and login to the API Portal.
